About Us

I have been a drummer for the best part of 25 years, and I have always wanted the bands I played in to look as professional as possible, and as soon as I got involved in the signage industry, I started customising my kits. I'm a strong believer in promoting my band, which in the business world is promoting my "brand".

I started drumming in 1984, growing up in Willington in Befordshire. I played in several bands and started playing gigs at pubs and clubs across the South of England. In 1988 I moved to Toronto, Canada, and within a few months I was playing and working with such people as Stacii Straye (Robin Black and the Intergalactic Rock Stars), Tom Skilton (Mudmen), George Fox, Anne Murray, Mickey DeSadest (The Forgotten Rebels), amongst many others.

I was always heavily into marketing, and the people I surrounded myself with always told me I should go into business for myself, marketing and promoting bands. My usual response was that most bands should be promoting and marketing themselves. This was a naive attitude, as I soon realised that most bands didn't know where to start when it came to promotion, and if they did, they usually couldn't afford the massive amount of money that marketing can take. This was when the idea of "Brand-Your-Band" was born.

Moving back to the UK in 2007, I decided it was time to put my money where my mouth was and officially get "Brand-Your-Band" up and running. It has taken a few months, but with some great help, the site is operational and we have already taken a lot of orders.

This site has been set up to offer up and coming bands affordable ways to promote their image. All products are produced by me in house, in the UK. The items listed on this page are pretty basic, (hence the affordability of them), but you are pretty much only limited by your imagination.
